PS  I posted thos pictures full size if anyone's interested in the details.
The shot of the steps is only marginally in focus (along the foreground
right side) but the other three of the roots/leaves shows the lens to be
almost perfectly consistent from corner to corner (in light/sharpness/tone
etc).
