Subject: [Leica] Happiness is a Fast Scanner

I finally have a fast setup for film scanning from my Nikon 9000. I use the
scanner primarily now just for 6X6 negatives which can produce a 300MB B&W
TIFF and even larger colour scan to subsequently load into Photoshop CS5.

Going with Windows 7 64 bit, with 10 megs of memory and two 3Ghz cpu's (4
cores) has turned the nightmare of 32 bit Windows Vista and 64 bit XP into
just an unpleasant memory.

Photoshop CS5 is my 1st upgrade since OS2 and the difference was well worth
the upgrade for $200.
