I have no idea.  The cameras were Nikons.  So there is no built-in
stabilizer.
I don't know much about the lens.  But Nikon use optical stabilizer,
correct?

One interesting thing is that they have special contraption which clamp to
the lens.
It looks like it allows the user to:
a) hold the camera with both hand and allow him to look at the live view
b) has thumb knobs on the handle to manually focus, and zoom

It is actually pretty neat device.
