Hi Tina,

As one who comes from almost a generation ahead of you, I would offer this
thought. I think it is a matter of control. When you are in the mountains
for a short period, you know what the schedule is, and can predict most of
the events.

When you get back to the house project, you know that you are dependent on
the actions of others, as well as the weather, to get things done.

I find that, when I cannot control the near-term events, I get very
frustrated. My wife sees this as moodiness and bad attitude, which she
often feels is directed at her. It is really directed at myself.

Now, if it ever gets cool enough that I can mow the grass without suffering
from heat stroke, maybe things will get better...........
