Subject: [Leica] Are the super wide R lenses the "sleepers" of the Leica line?

Not sure what qualifies as a "sleeper" lens.

I have a 15/3.5 and a 24/2.8.
They certainly qualify as "good."

I don't have M "equivalents" to compare them to.
I'd have to guess that any of the latest M designs
in these or close focal lengths, would out perform,
in terms of contrast and fine detail resolution,
my two aging examples from your list.

By all accounts the 15/2.8 out performs the 15/3.5.
I believe each design generation ups the optical ante;
or what would be the point?
