Hi Gene,

I see this line on most images at 640 ISO.

Thanks for your idea about asking a friend in Euorpe to bring the M8  
over.  However, someone sent a great suggestion off-list that I send  
it to Leica's Tokyo store and have them to return it to Solms. The  
Tokyo store would very likely circumvent the consumer import charges.
