No issue here, I use it just as it came out of the box, well, I do use the 
neck strap.  ;-)

The thing that bugs me is (and not that I am anywhere near the potential
buyer list), for $22K, you'd think they would fix the grip issue.

What grip issue? Just about every M8/M9 user has thumbs-up, griptac, half
case, etc. just so that the darn thing will not fall off the hand.

Or may be the unobtitanium is so strong that it adheres to your hand...

( or may be no one will ever take a single picture with these cameras that
it does not matter)
