I do often chuckle when i see people getting very high and mighty with the
giant watermarks across the whole image. I watermark only to the extent that
i want people to be able to find me and hire me or buy my prints. I always
put my url on an image, but I make it unobtrusive and non destructive. As
Mark said, if people aren't swiping your stuff, your photos probably aren't
good enough. but restrict the size and that restricts the useage mostly to
"PR FOR KYLE". 1200 pixels isn't quite enough to make a 4x6 though it's nice
enough to give someone a bit of joy as their computer desktop and,
hopefully, push them over to my website.
