Subject: [Leica] Magnum documentary on Chernobyl

I would agree.  Thyroid cancer for children exposed (0-14) peaked 
about 1996 an incidents of nearly 5 per 100,000 and is currently at 
background levels of less then 1 per 100,000.  Adolescents exposed 
(15-19) were hit the hardest, their thyroid cancer peaked in 2002 at 
10 per 100,000 and is currently nearly background. Adults exposed 
continue to have increasing incidence of thyroid cancer, currently 
around 7 per 100,000.  There has been no significant evidence of 
increases in leukemia incidence or other non-cancer diseases other 
then thyroid.  Birth defects i have no information about here.
