I think it's telling that they didn't include the 1998 "Ur Digilux" in the 
comparisons. It's rumored that the first 1.3 megapixel digital Leica was the 
pinnacle of Solms' manufacturing & design.* With so few made though they are 
as rare as hens bifocals and it could likely be that they simply couldn't 
afford the insurance it would require to rent one.




(*I'm very familiar with this line of speculation since I started the rumor.)
