I opened a bottle of this a few weeks ago, an offering from Suntory. I found
it too sweet and light for an Islay drinker. The best Japanese whisky I have
had to date, admittedly chosen from all of four that I have tasted, is from
the Nikka Distillery - Yoichi 10 yo, Single Cask at 59% proof. Heavily
peated and Lagavulin aficionados would love it! I actually had it at a
friends house at Glasgow, and try as I might, I have not been able to lay my
hand on a bottle for myself as yet.
Cheers
