Well "shiver me timbers" Ted! I'm going to print this email out, frame it,
and
have it as a centerpiece for my next show!!! Maybe print it 40"x60"? :-)

Thanks very much; you made my year!

Hi Bob,

Well I've never? been a big fan of AA and his zone sytem . But please let me
say.... "I'll take your landsapes over his in the blink of an eye!? WHY!

AA's are merely big piles of rocks and ferns as sterile as a neutered Monk!

Yours on the other hand? They are alive, are awesome and just plain old
fashion
"damn that's a beautiful photograph!"? They bring life and inspiration for
any
landscape shooter!!

I like shooting landscapess, but I do them as a time for relaxation while
coming
down from some hard ass assignment of long hour days! It's trully an R&R
time
for me. I turn off my bionic ears and I'm basically in a world of silence
with
the land and my cameras.

cheers,
ted

Curious if folks feel that applies to landscapes too...
Are the majority of impactful landscape photos BW or color? or both?

I don't know if it's right to leave Adams out of the mix as he essentially
has
defined landscape photography for our generation. Maybe try to think of more
recent landscape images that have impacted you.

Just curious as one who concentrates more on landscape photography...
