Well, I've been wanting to do this for a while, but thought I'd wait
for all of the Christmas/New Year's stuff got out of the way.

It's a New Year's resolution.

A while back, about a week before Christmas, I made a very stupid
remark on the LUG Print Exchange group and the stupid remark was aimed
at Chris.

My resolution is not to do things like that again.

It has been all the more painful because Chris is one of the
photographers I really admire and have for a long time. I was reminded
today because I saw his reference to wedding photography. So I figured
he was around and might even read this even though it's from me.

Anyway, Chris, I have been very sorry for the stupid remark every
since I made it. No defense. Just a public apology.

And I really mean it when I say you do great stuff. It's so good it
kept me out of that business. When the competition is so tough, you're
smart not to go there if you don't think you can at least equal it. I
would never be able to, but you deliver time after time, consistently.
