Great job on a tough shot.  I think the focus is on target - the glass and 
the face look as if they are in the same plane.  The glass does have a lot 
more contrast, which is what I think prompted someone's comment.  And I 
think that is the right amount of exposure - any more would have turned this 
into a high-key portrait, which it definitely should not be.
