Subject: [Leica] IMG: annoying banding - is my M8 becoming a paper weight?
From: grduprey at mchsi.com (grduprey at mchsi.com)

I have not had any problems with my M8 under low light conditions ever, no
blank exposures unless I had the lens cap on.:) It is a late first or early
second batch vintage camera. Just like a Timex watch, it takes a licken and
keeps on ticken.

Cheers,
Gene

The m9 is way way better than the M8.

Thanks!
