Hi Ken,

Bob keeps one in his pocket, often a different one each time I see him, and 
refers to them as "just a plain old pocket knife".  I don't own one.  I am 
on Coumadin, for life, and best leave sharp objects alone.  However, these 
are so well designed, crafted, and assembled that you could probably do 
nothing worse than scratch the handle material, which is installed with tiny 
socket-head screws, and could probably be replaced.
