I hardly ever bracketed with film.  I took a meter reading, then interpreted 
it, and exposed.  When I shot slides (my beloved Kodachrome) for a stock 
agency, I took three frames of everything to have three originals, but all 
the same exposure.  

I can't see ever giving up using B&W film; I love it too much.
