VERY nice.  Love that second shot.  (Just for future reference, does 
backlighting count as "the shadow side?")


As I do not have either a 280/2.8 APO Telyt, or the adapter to make it fit 
my Canons, I settled for the 24-70/2.8L Canon.

I would have preferred the 280, as I would have had likely wound up with 
fewer holes punched in my person in an effort to get just the right angle.
