IMO, this would help recoup the engineering costs of the > S2. Hi Dennis, I'm afraid the R ship has sailed and sunk. :-(. When I handled the prototype S2 at Photokina 08 - I was told by Maike Harberts that she would be starting to work on the R10 design as soon as the S2 design was finalized. But as we all know that did not happen and I don't know if Maike is even still with Leica. Howard
