Hi Frank,

>From my experience with NJ, they do indeed check for the problem, but they
>also do a complete check on the camera and make any needed adjustments.
>The plus side is the entire body will have a 1 year warranty from the date
>of the repair, so if yours is soon to be out of warranty, it will have an
>additional year.

Cheers,
Gene

Got my Paperwork yesterday.....

It says.....

" Repair Focus
(CCD Position)
Upgrade to current standard
Check complete meter system
Check and adjust for good working order"

We'll see if it does any good..... Supposed to be finished 4/27.. 3 weeks in
the NJ shop....maybe.....

Form the dates involved, I suspect that no one has done any analysis with
the camera. It looks to me like the repair work was ordered based upon my
written "complaints".

Note: The last 3 repair instructions sound like boilerplate to
me.....everyone gets that..
I never said Boo about the meter......

Good thing my M6TTL is in good shape..... it was fun to use film again this
past week....But I did get caught expecting the film to be wound on
automatically.....
