Maybe because you're rarer and busy, whereas these people are
plentiful and accessible?  When I travel I usually end up
photographing poor people, because I find them hanging around in all
sorts of places, they are approachable, and they often don't have a
lot to do so when I engage with them I am able to spend a little time
with them.  Wealthier people usually need to be somewhere.  It's just
an observation.
