Unequivocal?
Scientific method must by definition consists in systematic observation, 
measurement, and experiment, and the formulation, testing, and modification 
of hypotheses.
Serious science observes and tests facts about climate change.

Here you do ask the right question.
Now we must force our "leaders" and their corporate puppeteers to seriously 
ask (and begin to answer) that question.
