Subject: [Leica] Which Lens to buy for $2500

I was looking at completed sales for 35mm summicron and summilux lenses.  I
noticed that for between $2000 and $2500 you could purchase (excellent used
condition of course) either a version IV summicron, an asph summicron or a
pre-asph summilux.  Which one?
