Canon 1Ds Mk II with Leica 100 APO, shot fully open.

I'm trying to work more and more on using shallow depth of field to
advantage. There was a breeze on this particular morning that made focusing
a bit of a joke anyway. But I liked both the general color of the rose and
especially how it juxtaposed against the stained redwood fence perhaps 2
meters or so behind it. The color rendition of the Canon sensor really ran
away with it, sigh, so I did tone things down a bit in Lightroom.

Your thoughts on composition, or anything else, most welcome and encouraged.

Thanks for looking.

Adam Bridge
