Thank you, and yes this equipment can do "large format" type of
quality hand held.  Technology marches on.

I wrote up what I'd now call an initial rough draft on my approach at

These days I've abandoned the PS auto stacking routine.  Manual
usually is usually better.  So, I need to update that tutorial.

There is some discussion of these types of issues in the macro world,
usually working with Helicon, tripods and stationary subject matter.
I suspect there are some tutorials there, but it's a bit of a
different world than the hand held, on the fly shooting that I'm
doing.
