Well about these two photos, of which I much prefer the first:


Shadows and light is not only technical excellent -as is the cat's- but also 
demonstrates the photogs skills in term of previsualization and 
(post)composition - a crop it is, right? Altogether they result  in a 
superbly balanced photograph where structures, tones, separation and lines 
seamlessly support one another, which is rare enough for me to wish I were 
able to ...
Kudos.


The cat is finely caught, but is in a lower league IMHO


Thanks again for the introductory line that allowed me to view them first 
hand.
