That's lovely soft color.

I have the X100 also. I learn from others on the net: set the camera to MF
(manual focus) and press the AFL-AEL in the back to focus, it will actually
focus closer than in the normal auto-focus mode. Strange, this is an
undocumented feature. But, works for me. Take me some time to get use to
pressing that button, but works very well.
