Interesting, but I am not sure about all his points. I can think of plenty 
of situations where crouching down on a street would be misinterpreted as 
wanting to look up women's skirts; as for shooting street performers, I do 
not agree--they may be easy to photograph, but then the challenge is to make 
an interesting image, kind of like when photographing the Eiffel Tower or 
Taj Mahal. As for the homeless, I do agree, except that one could also 
establish contact first, talk to the person, learn something about him or 
her, and then an environmental portrait is entirely legitimate.
