Thanks for your interest. Both these images were original scans from 35mm 
negs. I then used Apple Aperture to process the digital jpegs, but moved the 
sepia slider to 0.2 to give it just a touch of tone which seems to richen up 
the blacks and give me a look I am very happy with.
