I finally bit the bullet and bought a Canon 5D Mark II. It won't replace my
Leicas and I'm still going to shoot mostly film, but this will be fun for
some stuff. I got it to do paid work with, since I've been doing photo of
paintings for local artists who wanted digital files. Shooting film was
costing money and scanning transparencies was a pain (I don't mind scanning
for my fine art work, I charge a lot more per picture for them than I can
get doing this kind of commercial work in Ft. Wayne). Hopefully I can get
more commercial work this year!

This photo, and the black and white portrait that I posted of my son
yesterday were both shot with the 5D Mark II and the 24-105mm f4L IS lens it
came with.
