An impressive image Jim! That butterfly looks like a cutout to impress Sir
Arthur Conan Doyle!
I have a 135 Elmar whose head of course does come off and its one of the
more useful things you can have if you'd gotten into having a Visoflex
System as it focus super close and goes to infinity and everything in
between with little trouble or extra add on's.
Its not optimized for close and I do thing that's a big deal.
I try not to get to involved with close up photography not using a macro
lens of some sort. A lens which is flat field and optimized for close not
far. As they tend to be really worth it in the close up department. And its
not as if they're had to find cheap and used in a million incarnations. And
enlarging lenses fit the bill as well.

I have the 135 APO f3.4 Telyt M and it shoots one of the smaller areas of
any Leica lens one could call it macro in that sense. A main reason I got
it was for doing tight head shots of people.

I paid 85 bucks for a 135 f3.5 Nikkor I think I still have somewhere. It
would be more endearing for its faults than for its perfections.

I have a 135mm 2.8 El Nikkor enlarging lens which I can put on my Viso. As
some other El Nikkor enlarging lenses like a 40, 63, 80
A f4 Apo Rodagon 75mm optimized for 1:1 and a 100mm f 2.8 Componon. All
selling for a song as people start using their darkrooms for potting sheds.
Some day I'll see them again and get to play with them. With my New M10. Or
other enabling device for dumb glass.
