To get really good calibration you need additional software and a
small piece of hardware (basically a colour light meter that you plus
in and measure the screen with), unless you buy an NEC monitor that
comes with SpectraView II, which is additional software and hardware
that NEC bundles in with some monitors.  Otherwise you're just
guessing.
