Thanks, that is the minimum I would expect. 

I have been testing and battery life is as I would hope for so I suspect
that it is the way that I carry the camera, the same as I do with the M9....


I wrap the neck strap around my wrist and carry the camera in my hand, while
walking that would make the autofocus go from near to far and back again
continuously (until it turns off after two minutes). This would give it far
more use than if I carried around my neck or over my shoulder - sound
believable?

John,
I get about 200 shots per charged battery with my X100 but I have auto
review turned off.
