Actually, the thing that bugs me the most about the Nocti is the long focus
throw. It doesn't work well for my style at all. The only other lens I have
with such long throw is the 75 'lux but that's OK since it only get used
for portraits.

Obviously it works for lots of other people.

I do find the Nokton has better ergonomics (balance better) and shorter
focus throw. Not sure about a head to head comparison in terms of image
quality, but one suspects the Nocti will win, although the Nokton is plenty
good enough for me when I need that 1.1.
