Subject: [Leica] IMG: From a Non-Leica RF

I just finished my first roll of consumer film in my recently-acquired Bessa
R2a, with the Canon 50/1.4 lens. As far as I can tell, the camera did fine,
and I'm still on a learning curve. I do think I may try negative exposure
compensation on the next roll.

The first image is the tail rotor of a transient Eurocopter. To me, it
shows that industrial design can be artistic as well as functional and safe.

An almost new Beech Baron stopped in for fuel. The pilots chose
self-service, so the attendant explored the new airplane. She said it had
the new car smell of a luxury car.

As I approached the Baron, I noticed that my image was clear, if somewhat
compressed, in the polished prop spinner. I took the opportunity to make a
self-portrait.

The film was Kodak Ultramax 400, processed at the local Walgreen's.

Comments and critiques welcomed.
