Cars and Coffee is an informal car show held in Irvine and other cities
early Saturday mornings. Given the car culture in Southern California,
rare
and exotic cars are often present. But when the Ferrari Club sponsored one
morning in November, something special was in the making.

A tractor-trailer pulls up early and unloads 5 vehicles, on their way to be
delivered to a Mexican collector. Among them:

A 1952 340 Mexico Spyder originally raced in the Carrera Panamerica. The
only spyder, as the other three of the type were closed coupes.

And not of that group, but gorgeous just the same, a 1955 Ferrari 250
Europa Berlinetta

Regardless of their color, vintage Ferraris are works of art. I hope you
enjoy this selection.
