I'm loath to buy a new 35/1.2, because it shouldn't have been stolen  
or "lost".  However, I probably will end up replacing it.

The postal rule that parcels must have a label declaring the package's  
value is just an advertisement that encourages either deceit on the  
sender's part, or theft for the tempted.
