Mark, now that you have a real screen, you should calibrate it. At the
minimum, go through the free Colorsync management set up on your Mac to get
it more right. The best is if you purchase one of the those spider thingie
for $100-$150 and use something like X-Rite for calibration.

X-Rite is one of the best brands, and I have heard very good things about
Color Munki. You want to check them out.
