Peter,

F2 or library/rename will let you do a batch or individual image rename.
I always rename on import as Richard suggested.  My renaming template is
YYMMDDlwwHMS (2 digit year, month, day, my initials, hour, minute,
second).  Any other info is put into the metadata.

You might want to set up a metadata template with your name and contact
info in it and apply that when you import.

If you want to title an image with a descriptive title, I would just do
that when you export the final file.
