oh absolutely - it was a sweet ride
I simply can't see myself trekking and climbing with an 8x10 kit anymore.
And therein lies the sadness.
It's not so much saying goodbye to the gear
(though it always felt absolutely right - like a dear old friend - in my 
hands)
as the end of a "way of working"
the loss of youthful strength and stamina
to haul big cameras around the world.
