Subject: [Leica] Why don't we see more large-aperture wide-angle lenses?

The faster the lenses, the more stray light there will be entering the
front glass and therefore you need more elements or better glass to adjust
for those aberrations. There is the 24mm f1.4 summilux and the 75mm
summilux but of course these lenses are big and heavy. It's simply a design
choice between portability, cost and practicality.
