Subject: [Leica] IMG: Neal's Friday firearm

This week's firearm is an example of one of the most infamous firearms
of the Civil War period. When ever I do a presentation on the Civil War
for a school I ask the question, "What firearm fired the most
devastating shot of the Civil War?". The answer is this diminutive arm,
a pocket pistol made by Henry Deringer of Philadelphia. It was a pistol
similar to this that John Wilkes Booth used to assassinate Abraham Lincoln.
