It's advertising wrapped in the flag.? In most cities (and along some 
interstate highways) there are major rules limiting signs - size, height, 
dangerous nuisances, urban blight, etc.? If car dealers put up SIGNS that 
big, they'd have to have permits, pay fees, and comply with the rules... 
which, in most cases, would actually BAN signs that big and that tall....

But no politician in the US is going to go on record wanting to regulate 
"patriotism,"? so the giant ad flags skate...
