I'm trying to sell an idea and not a camera.

Someone who matters to me is trying to raise money to make an independent 
film. Since she will use a camera, this is vaguely on-topic.

The fundraising scheme is a cliff-edge. If she doesn't get enough pledges, 
she gets no money at all. If she gets enough pledges, then she gets enough 
money to make her movie.
