Not a competitor to the general purpose MF digital cameras. However, if you
are producing outdoor photography in BW, it is a very compelling and even
economical alternative. The amount of information in the 18MP image,
combined with the excellent optics, will easily surpass MF images converted
into BW. Remember, a 18MP BW sensor is equivalent to a 36MP Bayer sensor in
resolution, and has better dynamic range and less noise.
