Hi Richard,
"CLOSE!" ;-) However as interesting as this Monochrom M maybe and without
question extremely expensive. If I were still shooting as much as I did
while shooting my medical books and other publications, I'd surely have one.

Not that I think the "CONTENT WOULD BE ANY BETTER?" But the prints may look
smashing without much, if any techie fiddling. We all relate to the cost
factor, certainly those of us just plain old fashion everyday economic
levels of life folks.

Now any CEO's out there knocking off a couple million a year before bonuses
wouldn't blink at the cost factor. Good on them! As I'll never be one of
them. ERGO? I calmly shrug my shoulders about the cost of Leica gear these
days and simply carry on with a used demo M8, a couple of Leica lenses and a
couple of CV lenses shooting colour when I need colour and quietly convert
to B&W when necessary.

It seems all the "Road Rage" about the costs of this new gear is truly for
naught! Merely creating a vast amount of high blood pressure levels for many
who surely don't need it!! And wordings of anger and hyperbole of wasted
breathing and typing! And here we go again bitching about something none of
us has any control over!!

ERGO: Not likely any of you have shares and vast sums of money in the Leica
home office? Simply read and delete, breath comfortably and get yer buns out
side with whatever gear you are enjoying at the moment and take some nice
Friday afternoon flowers and scenic's! :-) Or whatever grabs your observing
eyes!

Me? I'm going to have some fun happy snapping a bunch of graduating medical
students whom I've enjoyed capturing their lives as they learned how to look
after us when we need one of them to maybe save my life! And not a serious
moment in the whole afternoon as it's fun-time with my demo - used M8 and
everything set on as automatic as it can be! Then all I have to do is focus
rapidly and accurately. :-) Camera decides all else! : You've just got to
love it when you trust what you use and do nothing but concentrate on the
content that matters most! :-)

See how easy it can be when you really don't give a flying hoop about LEICA
and their ridiculous prices????? :-)

Now that feel's much better than some screaming rant that actually
accomplishes nothing but possibly giving one a deathly heart attack! And I
may or may not have a few nice happy snaps before the afternoon is over!

OBSERVE POSITIVELY! SHOOT WILDLY! BUT HAVE FUN! :-) To hell with the price
if you can't afford it! :-)

cheers all,
Dr. ted
