Still, I think that there are far greater factors in determining one's
lifetime income than when the graduate enters the work force.

I did not enter a work force until age 24, with only an undergraduate
degree. Since then, I had been without an income for nearly 4 years. So,
I've lost 7 years compared to most people of my age. Yet, I was fortunate
to enter a competitive field (financial technology) which has rewarded me
with several Leica cameras and lenses.
