While I don't do it myself, I don't see why there is an issue with someone
else wanting to tweak their images to have more grain, or look like Tri-X
or whatever. We certainly don't tell painters how to use their materials.
Would we have a Jackson Pollock if we told him to stop splashing paint
around?

I rather spend more times to "get the picture" than post-processing the
pictures, but that's just me. Other people are free to do what they like.
If you don't like that. Fine. Don't buy their stuff.
