Subject: [Leica] IMGs: Tour of California bicycle race

This year Stage 2 of the Tour of California started on May 14th on the
Marina Green in San Francisco. A short time after the start the racers and
their police escorts, photographers, and support vehicles came down my
street. Their route took them along the ocean to points south.

I posted a few snaps made with the M8 and the Elmarit 24mm at
http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/OBRYK/Tour+2012/ .

The refuse carts are on the sidewalks because the collection is on Mondays.
Green is for compost, blue for recycling, and black for landfill (severely
restricted as to content).

Cs & Cs cheerfully considered,

Oliver

PS in continuous mode the camera stops after about 8-10 exposures and takes
a while to become available again. Is this delay caused by the camera's
buffer, the writing speed of the card or both? Is there a way to shorten the
delay?
