On Wednesday May 23 the Diamond Princess traveled up Tracy Arm channel to
the Endicott Arm to view the Dawes Glacier which was calving chunks of ice
into the channel.
The ship was too big to get further up the channel and closer to the Glacier
but the captain did rotate all 288.3 meters (945 feet) so that everyone had
a view of all sides of the channel.
